THE CIRCADIAN RETREAT II

Chester, Connecticut, USA

OCT 30 - NOV 1, 2026

Burned Out? Stressed? Craving Inner Peace?

Imagine stepping away from the noise of your daily life…

Where no one needs you, nothing is urgent, and your only job is to breathe, rest, and be restored. This is your moment.

After our first retreat sold out with a waitlist and glowing reviews, we’re bringing the magic back.

What You’ll Experience

  • Scheduled Based on Body Clock: Our retreat is strategically designed to target promoting the health of 12 organs during their peak functional periods. We also focus on the role of lifestyle medicine in resetting your circadian rhythm, offering hope for a healthier and more balanced life.

  • Morning Outdoor Five Element Qi Gong: Engage in slow, mindful movements that have been shown for over 2,000 years to enhance blood circulation, boost immunity, improve balance, promote the free flow of the fascia lines, and help awaken your body, mind, and spirit.

  • Taoist Wisdom for Modern Life & Burnout Recovery Workshop: This workshop uses the Tao Te Jing to help participants understand burnout through the Yin–Yang framework. We explore how an imbalance between constant doing (Yang) and insufficient rest (Yin) leads to exhaustion and how we can find clarity and inner peace.

  • Gentle Flow Yoga and Meditation: Incorporate research-based practices that lower cortisol levels, improve flexibility, and support nervous system regulation, fostering a balanced yin-yang state. Suitable for all levels.

  • Facial Gua Sha and Mask: After restful, restorative yoga, learn how to massage your face with facial Gua Sha, then end the routine with a hydrating face mask to moisturize and rejuvenate the skin before going to bed. Doesn’t sound fabulous?

  • Plant-Based Food Diet: Served daily meals on plant-based anti-inflammatory foods. This includes fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, legumes, and beans. It emphasizes whole, unprocessed foods with moderate amounts of animal protein.

  • Afternoon Recharge with Acupuncture: Take a power nap to recharge, then enjoy a restorative siesta to revitalize your energy. Calm your mind and restore balance with a soothing acupuncture treatment in a community clinic style.

  • Nature Immersion: Hike through the wildlife preserve adjacent to our retreat to immerse yourself in nature. Experience the proven benefits of forest bathing (Shinrin-Yoku), including lower blood pressure and heart rate, reduced anxiety, and improved sleep.

  • Positive Social Connections: Provide a supportive, compassionate environment for connecting with others through open communication and shared experiences, fostering a sense of community and strengthening individual bonds.
