Chester, Connecticut, USA

OCT 17-19, 2025

Imagine This: Your Journey to Balance and Renewal

Step into a serene retreat in Chester, Connecticut, just an hour from Westport, designed to help you escape the demands of daily life and reconnect with your inner rhythm during the fall foliage season. Our goal is to educate and coach to implement lifestyle medicine rooted in the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and guided by the Chinese body clock; this experience blends evidence-based practices for preventive care, longevity, and circadian rhythm reset to create a life of harmony and vitality.

Experience Evidence-Based Practices to Cultivate Qi - Flow of Energy

  • Morning Outdoor Qi Gong: Engage in slow, mindful movements that have been shown for over 2,000 years to enhance blood circulation, boost immunity, improve balance, promote the free flow of the fascia lines, and help awaken your body, mind, and spirit.

  • Gentle Flow Yoga and Meditation: Incorporate research-based practices that lower cortisol levels, improve flexibility, and support nervous system regulation, fostering a balanced yin-yang state. Suitable for all levels.

  • Body Clock Workshops: Learn in depth how to target strategies for promoting the health of 12 organs during their peak functional periods, including the role of lifestyle medicine in resetting your circadian rhythm.

  • Exploration of the Five Elements Theory: Gain insights into how the Five Elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—can inform lifestyle choices and emotional regulation, supported by studies on psychosomatic health.

  • Plant-Based Food Diet: Served daily meals on plant-based anti-inflammatory foods. This includes fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, legumes, and beans. It emphasizes whole, unprocessed foods with moderate amounts of animal proteins.

  • Afternoon Recharge: Take a power nap to recharge, followed by a restorative siesta session to revitalize your energy. Calm your mind and restore balance with a soothing acupuncture treatment in a community clinic style.

  • Nature Immersion: Hike through the wildlife preserve adjacent to our retreat, immersing yourself in nature. Experience the proven benefits of forest bathing (Shinrin-Yoku), including lower blood pressure and heart rate, reduced anxiety, and improved sleep.

  • Positive Social Connections: Provide a supportive and compassionate environment for connecting with others through open communication and shared experiences, creating a sense of community and strengthening individual bonds.
